After Dr Lou's fledgling career as a hockey goalie petered out in the late 90's with the departure from Binghamton NY of the
Rangers, where Dr Lou served as practice goalie. Actually hours away from getting suited up, heartbreak but still he cherished those days. Back in NJ the show was the brainchild of
Dr Lou from Burlington, NJ. Dr Lou a student of The Three Stooges, Saturday Night Live, and the associated cast's wild wit and jargon, began the venture in 2002 playing the
Jayke of Blues Brothers in the Festival Of Lights Boat Carnival on the river in Burlington. The response was overwhelming. He first appeared on land at a charity event for young
James Gabig III, which he still continues to do for any charity, as the Bloues Bros, Jayke Since that time Dr Lou Music productions, www.drloumusic.com has become a well known
name in NJ, with over 100 performances. The show features Dr Lou, and sometimes our mostly
trustworthy photographer, Shawn Joseph John. Together we traverse the week in music, birth-dates, departures, and other featured bits. Music includes a full gamut of genres, obscure
and interesting music and comedy pieces, plus the lack of fear to play whatever someone requests, all without vulgar or offensive content. Now associated with Dan Akroyd & The
House of Blues Radio Hour, the Dr Lou Radio Show Band - The Priviledged Few Band plays rock & blues tunes around the NJ and Philadelphia region. Tune in Every Sat Night to hear
the antics of the doctor and the tunes that you don't hear everywhere. Listen for our sponsors and for information about how to find out where the Dr will be appearing, then stop over and say hi.
Subject matter for show is Music News and related songs. Comedy commentary and odd news stories are played and some improvisational comedy material is used.
