asked to sing those songs at the Award Show, being held at the Louise Mandrel Theater in Pigeon Forge, TN on 3/7/99.While at the Awards Show, Billy became fast friends with Lynn Anderson, and her
mother Liz Anderson, who were also inducted into the Hall of Fame. Lynn Anderson performed "Rocky Top". Donna Fargo, who hosted the show, also befriended Billy.
